Returning to Phoenix this July!
Published by Jen June 17th, 2006 in Life in General Tags: Life in General.July 13th - August 13th is when I’ll be back home in Phoenix. I’m not sure what I’ll do when I’m there, but I’ll be there.
You get used to being slightly inconvenienced all the time with a language barrier (although almost everyone speaks English here anyway) doing trivial day-to-day things, it’ll be weird to be able to just speak English and not feel like you’re pressuring someone into speaking your language. I’m still in Danish lessons but actual communication doesn’t happen often. Usually just simple shit that doesn’t require me speaking my mind.
The first thing I’m doing when I get back is petting all my kitties and my dog. Then probably go out for some mexican food.
That is good to hear that you are coming back to the states. Will you be staying in Denmark for good (read: good number of years)?
Hmm, don’t think so. I know for at least another year. I predict maybe 2 more years here. :)
But you never know… a year before I moved out here I had no idea I would move out of Arizona, so anything could happen.
