Caffeinated Dreams

I’m a little late posting this here, but I’ve got nothing better to do and been going nuts since the season finale airs tomorrow. OMG heavy spoilerage for the BSG season 2 finale:

It was confirmed (well, sorta kinda) last night when Gateworld put some Episode 20 images up, most of which confirm the rumors started on the SciFi forums. This means there is a 1 year jump in the plot.

I loathe it when writers decide to do some background character development. Especially for a character driven show. Moore has not let me down yet, so I have faith. When I first heard of this last friday I was in a frenzy that BSG would take a sudden dip for the worst so quickly. Then I thought about it.

The show wouldn’t really progress in a timely fashion unless they pulled something like this. Otherwise it would be running, running, and more running from the Cylons until they find Earth. I still don’t think I like the one-year-jump in the plot, but we’ll see. Just over 24 hours until the finale.

And oh god, season 3 won’t be starting in July like normal. It’s pushed to October for a possible release on NBC. Noooo. I don’t want NBC to air it… :/
