There is Nothing to Do. ;(
Published by Jen February 26th, 2006 in Uncategorized, Ego, Life in General, blog Tags: blog, Ego, Life in General. It’s almost 5pm (omgz: suddenly I noticed the days are longer again, yay). So?!
I have a whole half a day left and there is nothing at all to do. I’m spent. Totally, fucking, spent. Not exhausted, oh no, just… ran out of things to do.
Web design is the last thing I want to do because that is the second most thing I’ve been doing for a few months now. I’ve pumped out about 10 vectors in the past week. I made some posts in FYAD (yep hit uber bordem right there). I’ve tried getting a spiffy amaroK webserver working so friends can leech (but can’t, because I need a MySQL account and don’t have root access). I’ve played through half of Star Ocean 3 collecting only battle trophies. I have only one more territory to conquer in the GTA: San Andreas gang turfs to get 100% control (game=80% complete last I checked). I’ve played through all kinds of new maps in Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and would still play if people wanted to play with me. I’m getting re-pissed off at Devil May Cry 3, it has been almost a year and I still can’t muster up my anger and complete it.
My only obligations are cleaning the apartment before we move (which is 95% done, mostly just the bedroom stuff such as clothes need to be picked up…), and doing the dishes. So as you can see, this leaves me with A LOT of free time so I spend most of it doing hobbies or general interneting. “Getting a job” is not an option, though I wish it were.
I even picked up some new(ish) anime. One of which I never finished, Tsukihime. Of course, I still watch my weekly new episodes of Battlestar Galactica/Stargate SG1 (Atlantis finished weeks ago, thank you Canada!) and Lost. SG1 and Battlestar are going into their 2-part season finales though, so not until July will I get season 3 BSG/Season 10 SG1. Hrmph. I’m such a sci-fi geek.
“Get out of the house!” Sure, yeah, and do what? I tried that. I walked around Copenhagen and explored, but when you lack friends in a new country there isn’t much to do by yourself. School should hopefully start up soon, hopefully.
Soooo, I have nothing to do. :(
wait you guys are moving?
To a much larger, much cheaper, apartment just a bit north of this place. Has free cable too. We officially own the place on March 1st… :D
Sounds good.. where are you guys going to stay when you visit over the summer?
