Caffeinated Dreams

I updated ports plenty of times and watched a number of versions go by, and finally, a few nights ago, Inkscape built on my computer.

That means I can ditch The GIMP for mimicking vector graphics and do true SVG graphics. Yipee.

There is something sad about this, though. In a few days–maybe a week or two–my system is being completely redone to be faster, better, stronger. Moving all media (music, movies, etc) to a fileserver Lance is setting up, reformatting both hard drives and upgrading from FreeBSD 5.3 to 6.0, and from KDE 3.3 to KDE 3.4. Everything shall be cleaned and fixed! Recently I’ve been getting a lot of little problems that are too much of a bitch to fix by hand. Who is the culprit for most of my recent problems?

GTK. I fucking hate you, GTK. Some Linux shit as well for Linux emulation… but mostly GTK.
